Maasai Warriors have a strange tradition, they jump! The guy who jumps the highest gets the girl! The higher & more graceful the jump, the more appeal the warrior has to young women. And believe me not, but they can jump high! This tradition has become a tourist favourite when they go to visit the Maasai village. They can be recognised by the special red cloth they wear which is called a Shuka. They have a semi-nomadic lifestyle, very close to the ‘Van Gujjar’ tribe in India, surviving off their cattle.
